Job Description
Employer: Amarr Garage Doors About Us Amarr is seeking a Cart Loader to join our team! The Cart Loader is a key material handling role responsible for loading finished garage door sections or panels onto carts. This position ensures safe and organized transport of products to shipping for further processing, packaging, storage, and shipping preparation. Shift: Fri, Sat, & Sun: 7am - 7:30pm with 4 hours of comp time What You’ll Do * Assist stagers in moving sections to assembly area. * Insert, cut, and fit insulation materials into door cavities using precision tools, adhesives, and/or fasteners. * Inspect installed insulation for compliance with quality and safety standards; perform adjustments as needed. * Picking and bundling all materials safely and securely to eliminate the risk of damage during handling. * Request appropriate materials from the warehouse and stocking bins. * Accurately identifying, counting, and labeling the material by customer to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner. * Ensure the working area is safe, clean and organized. * Perform any other duties or special projects as assigned. Position Requirements * Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions. * Basic math skills with the ability to read a tape measure. * Basic computer skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Ability to work overtime when needed. Other Job Responsibilities and Physical Requirements * Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. unassisted with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull materials weighing more than 45 lbs. using team lifting procedures. * Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods (8–12 hours per shift). * Ability to safely move and operate material handling equipment throughout the manufacturing floor. * Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs and/or ladders as required for job tasks. * Ability to use hands, wrists, and fingers for handling materials, writing, and computer work. * Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced industrial environment. * Ability to work in hot and cold environmental conditions.
