Employer: Ascentt Business Product Owner — Logistics Platform Location: Plano, TX — Onsite Employment Type: Full-Time Experience: 5–8 Years Role Overview We are seeking a Business Product Owner to own the roadmap, backlog, and delivery for a data-driven logistics platform. The role requires strong product ownership, stakeholder management, Agile delivery experience, and the ability to use data to drive product decisions. Key Responsibilities Own product vision, roadmap, backlog, and release planning. Translate logistics business needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Lead stakeholder workshops and Agile ceremonies. Define and track product KPIs and success metrics. Partner with data engineering teams to validate data, dashboards, and solutions. Lead UAT, acceptance, prioritization, and stakeholder communication. Present product decisions and trade-offs to business and executive stakeholders. Must-Have Skills 5–8 years as Product Owner, Business Product Owner, or Product Manager. Strong backlog management, prioritization, roadmap, and Agile/Scrum experience. Strong SQL skills — joins, aggregations, window functions. Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Hands-on experience with Jira and Confluence. Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills. Experience working with distributed onsite/offshore teams. Bachelor's degree. Preferred Logistics / Supply Chain / Transportation experience. TMS, WMS, OMS, freight, fleet, last-mile, or 3PL experience. Exposure to Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, APIs, EDI, or GenAI. Ideal Candidate: A strong product owner who can independently drive the backlog, communicate with senior stakeholders, and use SQL and analytics to make evidence-based product decisions.
Requirements
Candidates must have 5–8 years of experience in product management or ownership with strong Agile and SQL skills. A bachelor's degree is required, and experience in logistics, supply chain, or transportation sectors is preferred.
