Job Description
Employer: Overhead Door Position Summary Verify load accuracy and product quality prior to shipment. Position Responsibilities * Responsible to assure that all required documentation is properly filled our and signed prior to the release of the load for transport. * Must have the ability to drive and maintain a forklift license. * Responsible for checking forklift each day to ensure it’s in proper working order. * Maintain proper stock of supplies and have materials ready to be replenished. * PC experience is a must, with high level of experience in maintaining documents. * Experience using Excel, Word, MXP, and Outlook. * Maintain cleanliness of working area. * Other duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or group leader. QUALIFICATIONS Position Requirements * Must be able to read and understand shipping schedules, comprehend both written and verbal instructions in a fast-paced environment. * Must have the ability to plan loads and read loadsheets. * Must be able to work flexible hours including early start times or later end times, Saturdays and overtime as required. * Must be able to pass a drug screen. * Must follow and support all safety rules. Physical requirements and work environment * Physical: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to walk, stand, crouch, and kneel, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear for extended periods of time, usually the entire shift. The employee must be able to lift 75 pounds on a consistent basis. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. * Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the plant is high. PPE Requirements: * Gloves, Steel Toe Boots, Safety Glasses, Sleeves when loading
Requirements
Candidates must possess a valid forklift license and have experience with PC software including Excel and Outlook. The role requires the ability to lift 75 pounds and work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends.
