Warehouse Supervisor

In this hand-on leadership role, you will manage and oversee all the functions of the storehouse by ensuring smooth operations of all activities. You will handle and manage warehouse workers and adhere to necessary safety and legal procedures of working. As the Warehouse Supervisor, we will rely on you to handle retail storehouses, shipping docks and other such facilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the functions and work of the all warehouse workers
  • Delegate and assign tasks and targets and evaluate the working of staff
  • Adhere to the compliance of all legal and safety procedures of working
  • Manage the inventory monitoring cycle counts and conducting audits of same to validate results
  • Supervise proper shift allocations and ensure efficiency of all warehouse staff
  • Organize and conduct necessary training activities for the staff and workers
  • Ensure the proper functioning of all warehouse tools and equipment
Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of the safety and legal documentation processes for handling related warehousing activities
  • Excellent leadership and administration skills and abilities
  • Strong motivational skills and effectual team building capabilities
  • Ability to effectively manage time, resolve crises and decision making
  • Ability to efficiently coordinate workings with internal and external workers of the company
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Administration, Bookkeeping, Inventory Management, Supply Chain or any related field of study; Post Graduate degree or a diploma in material management, general administration, inventory or bookkeeping or any related scholastic discipline
  • 4-5 years experience in warehousing or retail management related activities and must have experience and knowledge of UPS, FEDEX, DHL shipping terminal and procedures
