Position Summary:

The MA Health Promotion Clearinghouse is moving its Fulfillment Center to a new location in Dighton, MA and is seeking a Fulfillment Center Coordinator. This person will be responsible for all day-to-day operations and inventory management duties. This is a full-time (35 hour week, M-F) position with the Health Communication Department, reporting to the Manager of Marketing and Distribution. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter who can develop and maintain systems and processes for a fulfillment center that annually handles approximately 5000 orders for brochures, posters, and collateral items.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up and organize warehouse/fulfillment center
  • Assist with move into warehouse/fulfillment center
  • Receive/check in deliveries
  • Unpack/sort materials and arrange onto pick & pack racks/shelves
  • Perform quality control checks on materials received
  • Use online database to access orders and instructions
  • Pick and pack orders
  • Process shipments
  • Maintain processing systems
  • Manage palleted/bulk inventory
  • Manage fulfillment/pick & pack area
  • Manage supplies, including tracking and purchasing
  • Keep all areas organized, clean, and neat
  • Routine/daily communication with Distribution Manager
  • Submit daily reports to Distribution Manager
  • Assist with annual inventory process

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to operate warehouse/freight equipment such as pallet jacks (forklift operator certification a plus)
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
